OBS/ GNY Instructions for hospitalization before surgery 婦產部手術住院前須知

Please report to the Inpatient Center on the first floor of Lifu Medical Building at the scheduled date and time, after receiving notification from the center.
Please bring your ID card, health insurance card, a change of clothes, the surgical and anesthesia consent forms, and any documents provided by the inpatient center.
Please complete an ECG and chest X-ray at least one week before hospitalization.
A small amount of vaginal bleeding and discharge may occur after surgery; please bring your own sanitary pads.
Hospitalization fees can be paid by credit card. Please do not bring valuables with you during your stay.
The night before hospitalization, thoroughly clean the skin in the surgical area during bathing. Clean the belly button with soap using a cotton swab. Remove nail polish (including gel nails), contact lenses, and removable dentures.
If you are taking anticoagulant medications, please stop them one week before surgery as instructed by your physician.
If you need a medical certificate (e.g., for insurance claims, labor or agricultural insurance, or leave), please inform the medical staff one day before discharge to save time.
Applications for disability benefits:

Labor or Agricultural Insurance: no age limit (per Ministry of Labor regulations, 111年3月30日勞動保3字第1110150175號令)
Public Servants: no age limit (per Ministry of Civil Service regulations, 111年06月29日部退一字第11154674421號令)
