PicoSure® picosecond laser
PicoSure picosecond laser at 755nm, combined with a focus lens array, enables epidermal melanocytes to produce laser-induced optical breakdown (clinically LIOB) by focusing energy on the focus lens array. Melanin vacuolation only occurs in the epidermis and does not cause direct damage. It stimulates deep melanocytes, lower pigmentation rate and virtually no downtime. Picosecond shock waves transmit to the deep collagen region, causing collagen damage, initiating a repair signal, promoting growth factors and elastic fiber regeneration.
FOCUS™ Lens Array for PicoSure
Picosure laser treatments are performed under topical anesthesia with numbing cream. During the treatment, a pinprick sensation is felt as the laser energy is delivered. It is stronger when used in collagen stimulating mode.
