Days after surgery	Facial wound	Limb wounds
1~3 days	Keep the wound dry and don't wet it when washing your face. Use sterile cotton swabs dipped in saline to clean the wound, and apply ointment as directed. Wear a hat or put up parasol when going out and avoid direct sunlight to the wound. If your face is prone to secrete grease, gauze can be skipped.	Keep the wound dry and apply ointment after cleaning it with saline Do not wet the wound when taking a bath/shower. If you get it wet, apply the ointment after cleaning it with saline and then cover with sterile gauze. Please do not overdo the joint wound, so as to avoid affecting wound healing.
5~7 days	Remove the stitches about 5 to 7 days later. After removal, stick skin-closure strips to the wound to prevent scar hyperplasia.
7 days~2 weeks	Stick skin-closure strips continuously, or use scar gel according to the doctor's order.	Remove the stitches about 10 to 14 days later and apply skin-closure strips to the wound to prevent scar hyperplasia.
2 weeks~2 months	Keep applying skin-closure strips to make the scar soft and not protruding. Keep massaging the wound to soften the scar. Scar gel or siliconl sheets can be used.

After the stitches are removed from the wound, the skin-closure strips can be applied immediately and attached vertically to the wound. It should be used continuously for at least 3 months without replacement every day.

How to prevent scars

On the 10th day after the operation, a scar prevention product can be applied to the clean wound site without exudation to avoid scar hyperplasia.
Gently massage the wound with your fingers for 2 to 6 minutes for several times a day.
For those who are prone to allergies, fears or scarring, they can use various products to prevent scarring according to their preferences, such as skin-closure strips, silicon gel and silicone sheets, but these are all auxiliary products, which still need to be determined according to their physical conditions and the location of scarring.
It is advised to use any scar prevention product for 3-6 months.
Avoid direct sunlight exposure to the scar to deepen the color of the scar.
