Precautions for Vasectomy 輸精管結紮注意事項

- Consent from both wife and husband
- The procedure takes about 30 minutes. Local anesthesia is administered on scrotal epidermis. Two tiny openings about 1 cm each side will be cut for vasectomy.
- Post Surgery Care
- Hematoma might occur to few people. Press on the wound immediately and go to emergency room right away when hematoma occurs.
- The wound might get infected sometimes, discharges and swelling occur. Please schedule appointments with your physicians for follow up checkups.
- Chronic pain, nodule formation, and semen cyst might occur to few people after the procedure. Please go to your physicians for follow up checkups.
- It usually takes 20 times of ejaculation to remove the remainder of the semen after the procedure. Please schedule an appointment for semen analysis in 3 months to ensure complete birth control effects.
- Please think thoroughly before the procedure. The success rate of vasectomy reversal treatment and conception rate after the procedure lowers when time goes by.
