A New Chapter in Smart Health Collaboration: Insights from Singapore

Singapore has become a leading model for digital health transformation in Asia — advancing “Hospitals without Walls” through strong governance, AI integration, and community-based care.

To accelerate the development of smart healthcare and AI applications, Chief Secretary Dr. Wei-Cheng Chen led a delegation from CMUH to Singapore. The team met with Representative Dr. Chen-Yen Tung at the Taipei Representative Office and visited National University Hospital (NUH), Changi General Hospital (CGH), and Sengkang General Hospital (SKH) to explore Singapore’s digital health strategies and best practices.

Building on NUHS’s earlier visit to Taiwan, both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on AI clinical applications, cross-hospital collaboration, and patient safety management, further strengthening the professional partnership between CMUH and Singapore’s leading medical institutions.

CMUH remains committed to global excellence in smart healthcare — fostering international collaboration, learning from innovation worldwide, and shaping a patient-centered and sustainable future together.
