Translational Cell Therapy Center

Department Introduction

China Medical University Hospital (CMUH) Department of Medical Research's Translational Cell Therapy Center was formally upgraded in January 2016 from the Cell and Gene Therapy Laboratory set up in 2004 in line with the government's cell therapy policy in 2015. The purpose of founding the CMUH Cell and Gene Therapy Laboratory was to carry out clinical research on cancer cell therapy, and the academic phase-II immune cells clinical trial has been completed. Due to the vigorous development of cell therapy research in recent years, and the fact that the related laws and regulations in Taiwan were more complete, it was scheduled to transform the existing Cell and Gene Therapy Laboratory into the Translational Cell Therapy Center, with the aim of developing cell therapy to translate products into clinical-end treatment use on the market.
