Representatives from CMUH and KTPH attend the virtual MOU signing ceremony, marking a significant milestone in the partnership between the two institutions.

On July 22, 2026, China Medical University Hospital (CMUH) and Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH) in Singapore signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), marking a significant milestone in the partnership between the two institutions.

The virtual signing ceremony was attended by delegations from both institutions, led respectively by Prof. Cho Der-Yang, Superintendent of China Medical University Hospital, and Prof. Chua Hong Choon, Chief Executive Officer of Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.

The partnership brings together the strengths and expertise of CMUH and KTPH across four key areas: Traditional Complementary and Integrative Medicine (TCIM); Smart Healthcare and Digital Transformation; Medical Education, Academic Exchange and Talent Development; and Clinical Research, Innovation and Technology Development.

Through this partnership, the two institutions will deepen their collaboration by exchanging knowledge and best practices and exploring new opportunities in healthcare innovation, professional development and collaborative research

The CMUH and KTPH teams exchange views via videoconference on extending healthspan, smart healthcare, the integration of Chinese and Western medicine, and future areas of collaboration.

The MOU will also provide a platform for professional training, faculty and staff exchanges, talent development, and joint initiatives in clinical research and healthcare technology. By combining their respective expertise, CMUH and KTPH aim to promote more integrated and innovative approaches to healthcare.

CMUH looks forward to working closely with KTPH to create meaningful value for patients and advance patient-centered care across borders. This partnership reflects the shared commitment of both institutions to strengthening international collaboration and contributing to the future development of healthcare.
