- Pay attention to balanced diet
- Chines medicine appeals in mediocre and neutral, and hence emphasizes balance in terms of diet. Food is divided into 3 categories with each food comes with own nutrition. Acupoint Massage
- Acupoint 1: Neiguan Acupoint
- Position: On the upper arm, about 2 cuns from the direction of transverse crease of the wrist (approximately 3 fingers wide), the central dent between ulna and radius.
- Method: Vertically press downward. Press until sore sensation, and continue for 3 ~ 10 seconds. Repeat 5 times as one lap and do 3 laps a day.
- Function: harmonizing the stomach and relaxing the chest, reducing sense of vomiting.
- Acupoint 2: Zusanli
- Position: in front of the calf, underneath the knee, and approximately 3 cuns under the knee joints (approximately 4 fingers wide).
- Method: Vertically press downward. Press until sore sensation, and continue for 3 ~ 10 seconds. Repeat 5 times as one lap and do 3 laps a day.
- Ear Acupoint:
- Position: Shengmen, liver point and spleen point.
- Method: Vertically press downward for 3 ~ 10 seconds. Repeat 5 times as one lap and do 3 laps a day.
- Massage Time: If the patients feel like vomiting, nausea or swelling upper abdomen, the patients can receive massage before eating to help with the appetite.
- Function: Stabilizing the motion and promoting intestinal and gastric activities.
- Precaution: Patients with thrombocytopenia are not suitable for acupoint massage.
