Dr. Peter Karl Mayer has received dual medical training in Western medicine in Germany and Chinese medicine in Taiwan. He holds medical licenses in both Germany and Taiwan and currently serves as a faculty member at China Medical University. His clinical focus is supportive Chinese medicine and integrative cancer care, particularly for patients with lung cancer undergoing chemotherapy, targeted therapy, or immunotherapy. He integrates Chinese herbal medicine, acupuncture, Tai Chi, and health-promoting practices to relieve treatment-related symptoms, maintain physical strength, and improve quality of life. His other clinical specialties include tinnitus, dizziness, Ménière’s disease, gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, cardiopulmonary and allergic disorders, and geriatric medicine, with an emphasis on individualized treatment and lifestyle guidance.
