Intelligent Remote Monitoring and Warning System of Home Hemodialysis (CMUH)

Patients can perform hemodialysis safely at home through Remote Monitoring and Warning System of the CMUH “Smart dialysis App”. It collects and further analyze received vital signs and machine data, to generate alerts that are customized to each individual patient. The alert of each critical value and dialysis conditions will be sent to nephrologists and caregivers simultaneously. Home-hemodialysis Remote Monitoring and Warning System has already been tested successfully for more than 20,000 times at CMUH. Hemodialysis at home may save patients 90 days a year in commuting between hospital and home.

▲ Through the CMUH App, patients will receive the information and electronic records of home hemodialysis process from “Smart dialysis App.”

▲ With the Remote Monitoring and Warning System, the critical value of the dialysis conditions and alerts will be sent to the nephrologists’ and caregivers’ cell phones in real-time.

▲ Through the Smart dialysis App, the Remote Monitoring and Warning System of Home Hemodialysis has been tested successfully more than 20,000 times. Home hemodialysis could save 90 days a year for each patient without the need of hospital commuting.
