- In the following situations, please go to the emergency department immediately :
- Constant headache and severe vomiting.
- One side of the hands and feet is weak and unable to stand.
- There are 2 images to see things.
- Unconsciousness or drowsy all the time.
- The headache gets worse or the way the headache changes.
- Fever, severe headache combined with stiff neck and unable to turn.
- Sudden severe headache, vomiting, coma, or paralysis on one side.
- Unsteady walking and loss of vision.
- Breathing becomes very rapid and fast or has difficulty breathing.
- Suddenly fainted.
- Daily self-care items:
- It is recommended to stay in bed and rest.
- Moderate exercise can relieve abnormal tension in the head and neck muscles and promote blood circulation.
- Massage can promote muscle blood circulation, relax muscle tension, and relieve mental tension.
- Should keep the bowel movement unobstructed, avoid straining the bowel movement to avoid headache.
- Before the headache symptoms are relieved, family members, relatives and friends should be accompanied and taken care of, and pay attention to safety.
- Avoid smoking or drinking alcoholic beverages.
- When the headache cannot be improved, avoid eating to prevent vomiting.
