- Goal: Reconstruct living and exercising patterns, increase physical activities, and start cardiopulmonary fitness trainings.
- Low to medium intensity exercises for 30-60 minutes for 3-5 days a week or accumulate 150 minutes of low to medium intensity exercises weekly.
- Aerobic exercise options: lift up knees in place, speed walking, biking, aerobic dances (basic), others.
Precautions
- If discomforts in the wound occur, please reduce exercise intensity or time. If stinging pain occurs, stop the exercise immediately.
- Extend aerobic exercise time gradually every 1-2 weeks.
- Muscle or weight training is NOT recommended. Do NOT do high intensity or high impact exercises.
- How you should feel during low to medium intensity exercises: mild panting, mild soreness in muscles, and sweating during exercises.
