- Target: After the solution is prepared, it is used for intestinal examination and colon cleansing before operation.
Usage and dosage
- Before use, pour Klean-Prep powder into 1,000 c.c. cold boiled water and stir until the powder is completely dissolved to form a solution.
- (Before use, pour two packs of klean-Prep powder into 2,000 c.c. cold boiled water and stir until the powder completely dissolves into a solution.)
- For oral administration, in principle, a pack of 1,000 c.c. should be consumed within 1 hour, about 250 c.c. every 10 to 15 minutes. The average person should drink about 2 liters or until the discharge is clear.
- If abdominal distension or pain is felt, the administration speed of the solution should be slowed down.
Drug storage
- The collected Klean-Prep powder should be sealed in the original packaging bag and stored at dry room temperature to avoid direct light.
- Keep it out of the reach of children.
Possible adverse reactions
- If you take klean-Prep solution, you may experience nausea, bloating, abdominal pain, vomiting, and anal irritation.
Special medication instructions
- It is recommended that you prepare the solution only when you are taking it (please confirm the time of examination first). The solution should be refrigerated and used up within 24 hours. Any remaining or unused solution must be discarded.
- Take klean-Prep solution at least 1 hour before taking any other oral medication. (please do not take hypoglycemic drugs.)
- This drug contains aspartame, which is not suitable for patients with phenylketonuria.
- Two hours before taking the medicine, it is necessary to have an empty stomach, or eat a clear liquid diet (including rice soup, clear soup, tea, coffee, soda and carbonated drinks). Do not drink milk instead and do not eat solid food.
- Diarrhea begins about 30-60 minutes after taking the drug and lasts for about 2-4 hours. Clean or not: fecal water is clear and transparent. If the fecal water is yellowish orange, continue to drink water or eat a clear liquid diet to avoid dehydration.
- One to two days before examination, it is advisable to eat a low-residue diet such as porridge, noodles, and white bread. Do not eat high-fiber, high-protein food (vegetables, fruits, meat, gluten, dairy products). Avoid taking milk, other dairy products and deep-colored beverages (such as grape juice, watermelon juice, etc.)
Instructions

Take klean-Prep solution at 5 a.m. on the day of examination, which should be finished within 2 hours, with little impact on your sleep or rest, after being on a low-residue diet for breakfast and lunch the previous day.

Take klean-Prep solution at 8 a.m. on the day of examination, which should be finished within 2 hours, after being on a low-residue diet for breakfast and lunch and a clear liquid diet following the lunch the previous day.
