Timing of children using anticoagulant Warfarin (Cofarin)
People with mechanical valves: As the mechanical valve is a foreign object, if blood clots occur, the normal activities of the valve will be blocked, and in severe cases, people go into shock as the heart will not be able to pump enough blood, or the blood clots stuck on the valve will move to important organs such as the brain, which may cause stroke. Therefore, the appropriate use of anticoagulants is very important in treatment.
