Checking Your Blood Glucose with a Glucose Meter

- Fasting blood glucose before meals: e.g., fasting blood glucose before lunch and fasting blood glucose before dinner when nothing is eaten before any meal and 4 hours have passed since the last meal.
- Blood glucose 2 hours after meals: blood sugar levels 2 hours after the first bite of food (please remember to take the medicine or have insulin injections required).
- When hypoglycemia occurs: if there are symptoms of hypoglycemia or hypoglycemia is suspected, please immediately test your blood sugar levels and deal with it according to the situation.
- If you have any discomfort, please test yourself with a glucose meter to understand your current condition and contact your medical team for discussion.
- All the blood glucose values you have obtained from the test should be recorded in the blood glucose log book and discussed with your medical team.
