Principle of treatment

Laser hair removal uses wavelength 755 laser to penetrate the epidermis, so that the melanin of the hair follicle absorbs energy and produces high temperature to destroy the growth structure of the hair follicle, so as to achieve the purpose of hair reduction. Hair removal cannot be done in one fell swoop. The three stages of hair growth are the anagen, catagen, and telogen phases. Melanin only occurs during anagen, so lasers can only target hair follicles during the growth phase. Generally speaking, hair removal requires 4 to 5 courses of treatment (depending on your physical condition, please discuss with your doctor).

Notes before treatment

• Stop using stimulants such as retinoic acid and AHA at the treatment site 3 days before treatment.
• Prepare your skin by shaving 3-4 days before your laser treatment.

Post-treatment care

• At the end of the treatment, the hair will fall off and the skin will be temporarily warm and red. Usually 20 minutes after applying an ice compress or cold blowing, the symptoms will gradually fade away.
• Within 3 days after treatment, avoid using irritating drugs (e.g. retinoic acid and AHA) and exfoliating products, and do not stay in high temperature places (e.g. sauna, beside a heater or oven, hot spring).
