The Battle with Allergic Rihnitis
Step One: Stay Away from the Allergen (dust mite, pet dander, cockroaches, mold, and pollen)
- Keep the house clean and keep mite and humidity away
- Wash children’s pillows, comforters, and sheets with >55℃ hot water once a week.
- Do not use carpet or heavy curtains. Use blind or plastic board instead.
- Keep the airflow in the house. Use filters for the vents and replace filters periodically.
- Keep the indoor humidity under 50%.
- Avoid air pollution and second hand smoke.
- Do not keep pets if allergic to cats and dogs.

- Maintain regular lifestyle. Go to bed early and get up early.
- Stay warm during the change of seasons or when in air-conditioned rooms.
- Avoid cool and cold food, such as ice cream and cold drinks.

Tips for Fighting Allergic Rihnitis
- Drink a cup of warm water or hot ginger tea in the morning.
- Compress the nose with a warm towel in the morning or before bed.
- Massage around the nose in the morning and in the evening, 30-50 times each.
- Soak your feet in ginger water or take a bath in ginger water (5-10 slices of ginger, depending on the amount of water. Cook ginger slices in water until boil and turn it to low to simmer for 10 minutes. Add to cold water for appropriate temperature.
