- There are several different analgesics approaches of pain control including patches, and oral intake of pain killer.

- Counseling of laxative and enema use for patients’ defecation problems.

- Counseling for diet and nutritional evaluation
- Mental support for patients and their family
- Spiritual and religious consultation
- Introduction or referral to social welfare resources
- Helping patients to fulfill their last wishes
- Preparation for death and bereavement counseling
- Drug injection, routine examination and one-touch blood glucose level check-up
- Replacing Foley catheters, N-G tubes for patients.
- Nursing and counseling for wounds and openings care
- Chest care like steam inhalation, postural drainage, and sputum suction
- Assistance with care instruments’ rental
- Communication between inpatient care, outpatient care and even referral to other hospitals
Indications
- Patients with terminal illness.
- Patients with difficulty in seeking medical treatment due to the nature of the illness or disability.
- Patients with disability, Barthel ADL Index score of less than 60 points. (Note: Barthel ADL Index is a measure of activities of daily living.)
Service Areas
- Places that can be reached within 10 kilometers by driving from our hospital.
Service Time and Frequency
- Nurses visit patients once or twice a week. They often check on patients between 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM during weekdays.
- 24-hour phone service will be available after working hours.
